1. Booking your session

I see no dates, now what?
– This means I am a couple of days off, or all sessions have been booked for the month. Please check again in a few days.

Make sure to fill in the intake questionnaire and send it to me (up to 30 minutes before the session).

2. Payment

The payments is made after the session. The price is €49 and up

Why this strange donation model? Please read this thoroughly:

Despite what my business advisor told me, I don’t have a fixed price. Here’s why:

I’ve seen what happens when insurance and funding bodies get to decide how a session should go. It stripped me of what I do best. I had to tick boxes, follow their scripts, and deliver care that looked good on paper — but didn’t always help the person in front of me.

In the Netherlands, the minimum legal price for a psychologist without insurance coverage is high. Too high for many people to afford.

So I found a legal workaround:
If I call it a donation, I’m allowed to offer sessions below that price.
Yes, I still pay taxes. No, it’s not a loophole to get rich. It’s a loophole to help you.

To keep this system alive, it depends on people giving what they can — not just the bare minimum.
If everyone pays €49, this won’t last. And clients who truly can’t afford more will be turned away.

So I ask you to look honestly at your situation.

And remember: this isn’t just a conversation.

You’re making an investment into your long-term mental clarity and decision-making.
There’s solid evidence that it pays off.
Studies in behavioral science show that people who invest in their own growth experience significantly higher rates of progress, well-being, and long-term change.


 

3. What to expect

  • 50 minute to 1 hour online session

  • Safe and comfortable, but also honest, practical and to the point

  • You’ll get the Google Meet link through whatsapp right before the session.

  • With or without camera: your choice. Choose what you feel comfortable with.

    – Pros of no camera: safety, comfort, privacy, focus -> sessions tend to go deeper and progress faster
    – Pros of using camera: facial expression, better focus for clients with ADD/ADHD, trust-building, connecting.  
    Feel free to try both and see what you prefer 🙂 

 

4. How to prepare

  • Be in a quiet space with stable internet

  • Bring something to make notes with

  • A glass of water is a good idea

  • Tissues might be necessary too

  • Come as you are

  • Prepare to have your mind blown, though


 

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you cancel within 24 hours of the session, I ask that you still pay half of the minimum fee (€24.50). That hour was reserved only for you.

Rescheduling is always fine, as long as it’s more than 24 hours in advance.
